A lovely quiet get away with lots of good walks. Great if you like to ride horses & enjoy beautiful countryside. Good location to get to most places in the area.

An idyllic and peaceful location ideally situated for us to explore the area. With some lovely walks we were overjoyed to see the red kites soaring in the sky and red squirrels chomping in the trees. It was a comfortable and relaxed holiday for both of us.

If peace and quiet is needed then this is the place - beautiful surroundings, lots of nature to observe and lovely walking - it was perfect!

We were most impressed with this cottage. It had everything we required and the log fire was lovely. All the places we visted with our two young children were within 20 miles - there is plenty to see and do in all weathers, highly recommended!

Everyone we met did their best to ensure we and others had a good holiday, a fabulous estate to walk around with plenty of good, reasonably priced fishing in the area - I don't think you could improve it!
